New to Sheffield?
If you're new to Sheffield or moving into the area, we'd like to extend a warm welcome to you.
We are a Bible teaching city centre church, located approximately 10 minutes walk away from the main shopping precincts of Sheffield. We aim to be a "church for people who don't go to church": we put effort into making our Sunday meetings interesting, relevant and understandable to all. We are made up of families, young professionals, students and internationals. Our Sunday meetings are attended by approximately 150 people each week. Our children's church runs separately during the main Bible talk, with a 'crèche' available for babies and toddlers.
Our lively small groups, made up of approximately 10-15 people each, meet throughout the week. We welcome students and friends from other countries, for whom there are dedicated events taking place after the Sunday meeting. We also participate in several other activities, all of which are listed in the "What do we do?" section of this website.
Christ Church Central is rooted in Anglican Evangelicalism, having started life as a plant from Christ Church Fulwood in 2003. You can find out more about our values here.
